Anyone else getting popup ads when clicking on threads?

Just started happening for me. Annoying AF

yep, started today. locks up on the screen and takes forever to go away. makes the site almost impossible to use.

Yes, started happening yesterday, possibly the day before.

MovieChat, don't make me regret my decision to disable my ad blocker, which I did at your suggestion. You are the only site I've done this for.

How much money do you think this site pulls in from ads? Ive always wondered how much money is made from these shitty ads. Surely 99 percent of people don't get affected by them and never end up buying anything.

If the add doesn't close then go back a page then forward. Minor irritant.

Mine have been for Gartner (sp?) investments or something. I never do that kind of thing from this computer. Strange.

I use FireFox with an ad-blocker. I seldom see ads anywhere.

You should look into an ad-blocker add on. Most browsers have them.
