I've never seen "Schindler's List". Is it any good?

I've seen it referenced in that "Seinfeld" episode.

No

It's manipulative like most Spielberg films. And Germans talking english LOL!

I put off watching it for years but finally watched the whole movie only just a few years ago. It's obviously a sad movie but at the same time I'm in awe of it technically since its in Black and White and has a documentary feel to it. It's horrific to me since there are factions on the left that are acting like the Brown shirts and refuse to acknowledge they are close to repeating history.

It is an excellent movie. In my opinion not to be seen at any time (e.g. if you are down or for some reason sad) but I recommend you to see it.

It is pretty amazing how Seinfeld covered just about every possible awkward life experience

Is it good? Yes. Did I like it? Yes.
But it was a calculated move on Spielberg's part. Jurassic Park had just come out and was not very good (IMO) but people loved it. To remind people that he is not a mere pulp director and as Oscar bait, he put out SL and that cast a shadow over the sincerity of the project to me. I think this based on the zeitgeist and some dialogue of the time. As has been mentioned above, some of the forced sentimentality bordered on disrespectful to me as well.

Still though, a very good movie that should be seen.
