Does anyone else here HATE children?

Can't stand the little shits.

reply

I dont hate them, I just find them monumentally irtitating. Besides, they can't help it, they dont have the capacity to be anything but irritating, they're really innocent.

Parents who encourage them to be more irritating than necessary... they're the guilty ones and I hate them!

reply

I would rather have a dog or cat than a child.

reply

Likewise.

I LOVE animals, they're much better people than people.

We were all children at one time. A person can't help their age. So to hate or even dislike someone because of their age, that's pathetic. I can't stand ignorant obnoxious adults. That's why I hate Aerosmith and Frankenmonkey ST with a passion.

I think kids are wonderful. Having my kids and everything that comes along with it is, and continues to be the best part of my life. Raising children does something to a person’s view of the world in a good way. I usually only have to be around a person for a very short time to know if they have kids without them ever saying it.

so true.

This entire post is so well expressed but this line stands out to me because it seems to coincide with something I once read which was, "The closest thing that the average person will ever experience to the love of Jesus in this world is, the love of a child !"

But then maybe that was just my tendency to make abstract mental connections; you decide. :)

Men know that they are children in relation to the country and, as in armies, seniority and senility ride close together. But to have the heart of a child is not a disgrace. It is an honor. A man must comport himself as a man. . . . But it is never a reproach that he has kept a child's heart, a child's honesty and a child's freshness and nobility.
