Movie franchises that used to be huge but now totally forgotten
The Da Vinci Code
shareMa and Pa Kettle - look them up. They were in 10 movies in the 50s, that were very successful. They may have been the inspiration for shows like the Beverly Hill Billies. They are so bad, its hard to understand how they were popular.
shareI always liked the films until the actor who played Pa Kettle left. I can see why many people would consider it out of date now as well as upsetting the Woke crowd due to the Indians they sometimes had in the films. But they are still entertaining.
shareI’ve only seen a couple of them, and I think they were later ones. They were very slow paced and boring.
shareThe Thin Man... which is a pity, since they're really funny and enjoyable mystery movies.
shareThat was going to be my answer. Also The Saint.
shareAlso Philip Marlowe movies.
shareThat is not forgotten. It plays regularly on cable and OTA television. It may not be talked about but it's not forgotten.
shareGreat great movies. They should be remembered more.
shareI don't think anyone cares about the Resident Evil movies anymore.
shareTHEY FELL OFF THE CLIFF..AS A FAN,EVEN I HAVE TO SAY THE FINAL CHAPTER WAS CRAPPY...HOWEVER THE RESIDENT EVIL REBOOT IS IN THE WORKS.
shareAlso the game is still going strong. They just remade the 3rd and Resident Evil 8 will be released 2021 on PS5. Exciting times. They should reboot the movies.
