Movie franchises that used to be huge but now totally forgotten

Both those series had terrible closing chapters. I think that's a big part of what makes fans embarrassed they liked them so much. They just sweep it all under the rug and move on with their lives. You gotta end strong to make a lasting impact on culture.

A Beautiful Day in the Neigborhood is worse.

I saw at least one of them. They needed a bigger star to carry those movies. That's how you have a good franchise.
