The Matrix doesn't have any sequels.

reply

Agreed.

That's not an opinion, that's a fact!

1. The Ailen movies should've ended at 3. Thought it was a good end to Ripley's character.
2. MCU Spider-Man is just Iron Man's glorified sidekick and nothing more.
3. Benchwarmers was Rob Schneider's only good perfomance.
4. The Rise of Skywalker doesn't exist and Force Awakens & Last Jedi are just a duology like Kill Bill.
5. Halloween (2018) sucked!

reply

I think 1 & 2 are quite popular.

Pet Sematary is terrible. Horrible acting. Dumb dialogue. Pure camp that people claim is a serious horror film.

The remake/new adaptation was much more interesting, serious and had FAR better acting.

reply

I agree with you on that one. I enjoyed the remake so much more, even though it is less faithful to Stephen King's novel, which is awesome.

It goes to show that just because something is faithful to its source material, doesn't mean it's good. No better example than that atrocious 1990's TV version of The Shining. Ergh, yuck!

reply

The Changeling (1980) is the best ghost movie of all time

reply

Certainly “one” of the best.

reply

Oliver Reed's best performance was in Burnt Offerings 1976

reply

Alien 3 is my favorite of the franchise.

Wasn't it inside Newt?

I dont get bogged down by questions like that.
Like Dr. Ian Malcolm says, Nature breaks thru. It finds a way.

reply

a small detail 😊😊

reply

Dr. Ian Malcolm also said, "God creates dinosaurs" tho'... so I'm not exactly sure he's a real doctor.

reply

Hate that dialogue! And than Laura dern has that dumb line about women. Editing room floor.

reply

1. Halloween (1978) could quite possibly be the most overrated movie in the world.
2. The 2010 remake of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" isn't that bad.
3. The first "Alien" is better than "Aliens" which is just ok imo.

reply

Yes to #3

reply

Agree on number three

reply

I agree with 2, but that might be that I watch many, many low budget horror films that are pretty crappy.

I would’ve chosen Cooper (A Star is Born) over Malek for the Oscar that year...I thought Bale (Vice) as Dick Cheney was better than Malek and would’ve been okay if he won....
