Musicals are amazing. They take a lot of artistic skill to create. Can be just as good and be high quality like any other genre.

The Conjuring universe sucks ass

Night of the Living Dead and Day of the Dead are Romero's only good zombie films. Dawn of the Dead is dull and feels like a parody and isn't scary in the least.

I do not hate formulaic movies.
Especially Kids formula movies.

I consider these performances some of the all time best even though they are not Oscar worthy:


Julia Roberts in my Best Friends wedding
Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blond
Robert Downey Jr in all his MCU films.

1) I love "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" with Andrew Garfield. Of course Tobey will always be number 1. But Garfield is good too. Never understood why people disliked him.

2) Growing up as a kid, "Annie" was one my favorite movies (both the 80s and the Disney version).

1. I consider Mission Impossible 1 to be the worst of the franchise and actually like MI2.

2. I think View to a Kill is Moore's best 007 movie.

3. I don't like Casablanca nor Lawrence of Arabia. Each has moments of skilled film making yet both are extremely overrated.

4. Other than the first one, I think Harry Potter is trash. Read half the first book and consider it to be very poorly written.

5. I don't like Forrest Whitaker. Sometimes skip movies just because of him.

6. I like nearly all of Shayamalan's movies and don't think a "twist" is something bad. No one did until the Shayamalan-hate trend hatched.

7. I thought Aquaman was total shit.

I hate most of "Gone with the Wind." I can't stand watching [or even reading] it past the Barbecue and Scarlett's first wedding. Only thing memorable about the movie were the costumes, and even then, I'm not a big fan of fashions from most of the Victorian period.
