📺 Will you watch sports if they restart seasons without fans? 📻

I realize that fans in the stands add to the game experience, but I suspect that sports fans will tune in to games played without them. Will you?

I will, and although I don't have the proper access to watch games on TV, I will tune in to radio to hear the play-by-play. I'm guessing, easily, that there is a huge appetite for live sports again.

What do you think you'll do?

I feel bad for the players as I suspect that it will be more difficult - as in, not very rewarding - without "audience feedback" during games.

Yes

I don't know if it will work, but they have the technical prowess to make a fake crowd. Like the kind on video games.

I might be distracting at first, but people could get used to it.

Or stations could get creative, by showing a bunch of homes with fans cheering on.

Footie on TV with my mates in the pub or at the ground (Bournemouth are in the Premiership). My playing days are well behind me, lol.

I play five-a-side, and our tournament restarts this week (with extra caution, of course).
But I'll still have to miss footie on the tv.

Oh jeez, I used to play 5-a-side about 35 years ago - it bloody killed me then, never mind now, lol.

I am 30 years old now, and the fastest player of the team - everybody else has a beer belly. :D But my heyday is long gone... I sprained my knee a year ago, and never have fully recovered. I suspect I never will. Oh well, we'll never be too old to watch a derby in the pub. :)

I used to play 11-a-side on the left wing (that’s how long ago that was) because I was left footed and fast, but I was like a cheetah - I only had so many sprints in me per game, which is why I found 5-a-side really hard. Not so much the speed, but the constant high pace.

Yes - I can't wait for football and will probably watch more baseball than usual when it starts back up in July.

As far as feeling bad for the players, I'm sure they will miss the crowds and in the case of football, it will eliminate the home field advantage, but without the crowd noise they will probably be able to do a lot more trash talk to each other and they'll love that.
