Handshake should be obsoleted

Foreverrrrr...

reply

This could be the beginning of the end.

reply

If obsoleted isn't really a word, I think it should be.

reply

I am officially adding obsoleted to my vocabulary; it sounds like something The Borg would use, lol.

reply

It already is.

“Fascinating” as Spock would say. Today I learned the word “obsolete” an adjective, can become a verb, “obsoleted”. Etymology is an interesting study.

reply

It's fairly common in "tech-speak" like in programming manuals, etc. I'm a computer programmer so I was quite familiar with it's usage.

Time for dickshake! 😄

Harambe would be proud!

Touching tips? That's a good way for males to bond and show mutual respect, but it excludes women!

At one time after a few red Solo cups filled to the brim with the “good” stuff, I would have said “Right On! I’m game!” Being a female it would have been fun, but now I’m too old. 😥

reply

You're never too old to have some laughs 😃

reply

I've never liked it. The thought of palmaa touching palms has always seemed unsanitary to me.

reply

for something to become obsolete it needs a worthy successor.

How about an intercourse hello? How would that be?

I wonder if you could help me. I've noticed that when you post YouTube links, you're able to start it at the precise moment that you want (rather than right from the beginning). How do you do that?

reply

Add &t=[minute]m[second]s to the end of the url.

reply

Excellent! Many thanks!

I use this so I can preview and make sure it's at the exact spot I want

Absolutely brilliant! Now on my desktop!

This is absolutely beyond selfish.

One other good thing this might help to change the behavior of are those annoying “close talkers”. For some reason, they don’t seem to realize that you can hear them just as well from 5 feet away as you can from 1 foot. Even during non pandemic times, I’m not too keen of having those little spittle droplets hitting me in the face that everyone sends flying from time to time when speaking. The worst thing about those people is how when you back off to create some space, they will follow you.

reply

it will take awhile to come back, if ever.
