I missed out on a whole slice of rock music; Progressive Death Metal? Or would you label it differently?
shareMudvayne was considered "nu metal" when they came out but they definitely had a prog side to them. I think they're rather unique. Awesome bassist and drummer! Ryan Martinie is very highly regarded in the bass world.
shareSee, this is what I love about Rock, is how thereβs so many sub genres. Now, bearing in mind Iβve only heard the one track, I personally think Mudvayne are too complex to be labelled Nu-Metal, which to my ears is normally more straight forward.
