Guy Ritchie’s story telling

So I just watched Snatch (2000) and The Gentleman came out earlier this year. I just want to comment on Guy Ritchie’s story telling: it is fantastic! His movies are almost a cross between Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan. Most of Guy’s movies tell a story in a way that have me lost half way through but he w always brings it all together in the end! I love it! Plus he always get a great cast! I’m going to watch Rock n Rolla next and looking for a copy of Revolver!

His movies are maybe a little more action oriented than a lot of Tarantino's stuff. Great characters, dialogue and story though.

I don't think he's quite as good as Tarantino, but he doesn't get nearly the recognition of someone like Tarantino.

Im in the minority i think , i didnt really like snatch. I loved lock stock though.

I love Guy Ritchie. I've heard people say that he makes "check your brain at the door" movies, but his films are actually more complex than that. If you watch "Snatch", "RocknRolla" or "Lock Stock" without paying attention, you're not going to like it simply for the action. There is actual plot to his movies.

Definitely. And characters who are convincing even though they are often eccentric or outrageous.

There's more to his movies than a typical action film.

I loved his Sherlock Holmes movies. He has a great style to his movies. In the first movie The spoiler - - - -explosion at the docks done in slow motion was fantastic. And great fight scenes too.

His more recent movies are weak tho'... The Man from UNCLE, King Arthur, The Gentlemen, Aladdin and The Wrath of Man were not very exciting.

I really like his films.

I think it would be cool if he made a Batman film.
