Guy Ritchie’s story telling

So I just watched Snatch (2000) and The Gentleman came out earlier this year. I just want to comment on Guy Ritchie’s story telling: it is fantastic! His movies are almost a cross between Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan. Most of Guy’s movies tell a story in a way that have me lost half way through but he w always brings it all together in the end! I love it! Plus he always get a great cast! I’m going to watch Rock n Rolla next and looking for a copy of Revolver!

What are your thoughts? https://wordcounter.onl/ https://vidmate.onl/ https://mobdro.onl/

He tried to turn Sherlock Holmes—documented as the most popular literary character in history—into Mission Impossible, and he married Madonna. Not impressed.

I notice everyone who has commented is conveniently forgetting that Swept Away ever happened.

I don’t mind Guy actually, even if he’s something of a one-trick pony.

I thought Robin Hood (2018) was Guy Ritchie's but apparently it's not. It gave the same vibes.

reply

I missed that. Although I hear I didn’t miss much, apparently it was awful.

It's not that bad. Not great either. It's just silly. It's one of the movies where audience expectations were... betrayed.

People thought they'd get a gritty medieval epic movie only to be given an action flick where they ride horses like motorcycles.

reply

Well that doesn’t sound too bad actually. I can do silly. Thanks for the heads up mate 👍
