i can remember getting our first color TV.
shareYep, and the black and white TV and the telephone before that. But this is Australia I'm talking about and we were poor Catholics with too many kids so we were later than most with getting these things.
I remember being in primary school in the early 80's and hearing kids talk about the films they watched last night at home. There were only a few stations in Australia back then and I knew what they sai they watched wasn't on TV.
Took us till 1985 to get a VCR and by then VCR's weren't braggable anymore lol.
The old days of going to the Video Store. There aren't many of them left now.

Poor Carey looks awful now that she has dropped a lot of weight. And becoming a mother to two young children probably hasn't helped either. But when she was young I thought she was very pretty in a quiet, passive sort of way. And she has a beautiful singing voice which always helps in my book.

No idea what she looks like now though. Women seem to be aging worse than they used to.

Maybe some of those actresses are stunners in other roles but they looked plain as Jane Eyre. Granny buns, pasty white faces, ugly dresses. Toby Stephans and Michael Fassbender were both hot looking Rochesters.
