The fact that having to go to sleep at night gets in the way of watching more movies!

Try this if you haven't already done so:

The BILL system (I made it up).

1) Break up the movie you want to watch into more than 1 viewing session.
2) It limits distractions from interrupting your experience.
3) Lets you to watch a movie on a tight schedule.
4) Long movies that would feel slow in some parts get better focus from taking a break.

Oh I already do that, it’s just that I could watch like 3 or 4 more movies a day if I could just stay awake all the time.

Okay, how about this?

Pick out a deep social commentary type movie that's bound to tire the mind - preferably narrated by or even starring Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Catch the "True Lies" (1994) reference?
It's the scene where Jamie Lee Curtis muses about her husband while going to bed.

A good system.

It does wonders when trying get into "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (2016), where the first half of the film is building up its premise, making the payoff during the climax of the last half that much more rewarding!
