I bitch about this fairly often
It was a 4 cylinder, 5 speed and the body was at least 50% Bondo puddy
It ran like a champ but the suspension was rotting away...
It was fast as hell (due to the light weight it was very fast but a bit skiddish) and even tough my pals in their Camaros and Lincons always beat me I kept up!
My mechanic refused to slap a new inspection sticker on it, it was rusty and the leaf springs were coming apart...I even attempted to bribe him but he was all honest and declined my 50 bucks! (he soon after went out of business, haha!)
I miss that truck very much:(

shareHe was never the same despite his denials. Became cynical, not always but overall. One can only imagine what a Dave based in laid-back Southern Cal. would have been like vs. NY. I think it would have been pretty great. And this from a Jay Leno fan.
