I don't give a fuck about the left OR the right. Everyone and everything is revolving around this subject and I'm sick of it. For my sanity I propose we fill this thread with nice, non boring things.

I like movies with great stories, like this movie I watched the other night called Boy. Not a bad movie. Another one I saw was Finding Forrester and it was incredible. A really heartfelt story. Watch if you haven't seen it.

Ice cream is never boring, not even a vanilla cone.
Gummi worms are awesome, especially the sour kind.

I like when the clouds get dark and its about to rain. Rain makes me happy, sometimes I wish charlie and I lived in Ireland or Scotland. Back to our roots if you will.

Feel free to add whatever you want! I'm on my way to work. Hopefully it will be a half decent day. I've been off for two days and its always the hardest to go back into that store.

R_Kane posted a thread on this just the other day. I love good stories. Classic films contain some of the best stories. I watched Sunset Boulevard the other night. Talk about a great story! Old Hollywood! NEXT?

We have had 5 continuous days of rain here where I live in Wisconsin. It has taken a break, but there is more on the way. You may have it!

At this moment, I would rather discuss Pollyanna. Good movie, by the way... Hayley Mills was sugary sweet! If thewaitress wants to forget about politics and discuss rain, candy, ice cream or whatever, then take the politics elsewhere. This is her thread!

I haven't had a twizlers in years! What is your favorite kind? I used to dig the cherry peel n pull.

I love the Cherry too! Sometimes I buy the bite size. I once made the mistake of trying the chocolate flavor. Horrible! The flavor was more like Coco Puffs cereal. With a Twizzlers texture, that's just plain gross!
I imagine that with the three big holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) coming up, the store is fairly busy.

I'm gonna have to get some Twizlers soon, a craving as set in. ;P I can imagine how gross that would be, yuck.
Oh yeah, super busy during the holidays. People usually start buying candy now for Halloween, so every 4th or so customer has $20 bucks worth of candy and other Halloween items. One of my favorite customers did say he'd stop in today so that's always a nice thing to look forward to.

I can't trust myself to buy candy until a few days before Halloween. If I had it in the house now I'd be nibbling at it and there wouldn't be much left by the big night. I seldom have candy around. As long as I know it isn't around, I can get along without it.
The next few months are a real test to me. So much good food and those TREATS! I can already feel those pounds piling on. Oh well.... you only live once.

I always assume they eat all the candy and just buy more. What kind of candy do you usually buy for the trick or treaters? I like to get a couple of mix bags, you know the "Child's Play" stuff. I don't know if you know what that is but its a decent mix of candy.

I'm sure I will gain a few extra pounds this upcoming holiday season but yeah, oh well!

I love the sound of rain on the roof, and the way the air smells after a nice rain. A cuppa cocoa on a rainy day in front of a fireplace is another wonderful thing.

I'll have to check out Finding Forrester.

Good on you waitress, cool thread. Needed a lil flavor up in here. I’m the real life sweet dee, nice to meet you!
I have a white lab, she’s pretty awesome. I never have to leash her (even though it’s the law) but she’s so good no one ever says anything.
It’s chilly here but the fall colors on all the trees are amazing right now. Really brilliant.
I want to see that “mother” movie but I think tonight we’re gonna watch “a quiet place”.
I disagree about vanilla ice cream, I find it terribly boring. I would like to put those Girl Scout cookies that come in the purple box in some vanilla. That kinda sounds amazing. Where the hell do I find Girl Scout cookies this time of night? I cheat on my boyfriend sometimes with Ben AND Jerry.
I enjoy sneezes, the wilderness, and am occasionally even a cocaine enthusiast!
I 100% know that back to work dread, so tonight I’m just gonna pretend I don’t have to work early as fuck tomorrow morning.

I love dogs. What is her name? I once had a chocolate mix named Emma and she was fuckin' wild. She would run through the entire yard like her tail was on fire.
Fall colors are my favorite :) Living in Alabama, its usually a hard 6-7 months of summer and then a short winter, followed by more summer. I envy your fall colors!
I've seen both of those movies, I liked Mother more than A Quiet Place but still both good movies. A Quiet Place had me jumpin' a few times.
I've never had those cookies in the purple box. I've recently found out I'm allergic to chocolate so just tell me how amazing they are.
You could try your local Walmart? Ben and Jerry? Naughty! Sometimes you just want a little flavor, 2 is better than one kinda deal. Seriously, that ice cream is sinful. I've loved every flavor I've tried.
I've gotta work a five hour shift tomorrow morning too :(
Tonight was decent though! I do hope you have the greatest of days tomorrow :D

You in bama waitress? I just moved out of the dirty south a little less than a year ago, out west now. It’s beautiful and I love it but I’m definitely still acclimating to the cold. Occasionally I miss the days of grocery stores getting sold out at even the mention of snow. These cats are tough as nails out here, nothing is closed due to cold or snow.
Passed out about 5min in of “a quiet place” had an eventful weekend. Will watch again after work, which I must get ready for now. Ugh. Have an excellent day waitress, good chatting.

Yes, I live in Bama. My boyfriend and I talk of moving often, we'd love to move out west. Anywhere cooler and more progressive. Yeah, I lived in Indiana when I was 17 for a year or so and it would SNOW like I'd never ever imagined it could snow (that much) and people would still be truckin' to work! Same here, got a mild headache but I'm hoping it will pass soon. I feel you on the ugh. I hope you have a great day too froggy! :D
