How do you like your eggs?

Sunny side up? Over medium? Over hard? Don't like eggs? Vegetarian?

Yesterday I watched a YT video on interesting ways to make eggs, and the guy doing the cooking almost always undercooked them, for my tastes, no matter how he made them.

I like the whites to be thoroughly cooked. If they're at all slimy, my gag reflex kicks in. I like the yolks to be more cooked than not, but a little runny.

You?

reply

Scrambled with lots of butter.

Sunny side up? Over medium? Over hard?

What do those three things mean? I've always wondered, we dont get those choices in the UK

Those are the US terms. The English equivalents are: Orange Eye Go Peekin', Fubbledy Wung-tabble, and Puddy looloo.

I hope that helps.

reply

oh of course , yes I like the Puddy looloo best

Flat.

As established on the other thread, without chick fetus. I also pick out those thin white string things once they're cooked if I see them.

For any except boiled I always chuck veg, ham & herbs into them, not a fan of eggs on their own too much. The only veg that doesn't taste good with them is sweetcorn for some reason. Tastes bizarre. Sundried tomatoes were my favourite for ages.

Oh and they have to be cooked to within an inch of their life. That's why i never order eggs outside. In case they come to the table like a mushy puddle with a sprig on top 🍳

reply

Poached, as in eggs benedict.

reply

Fried three minutes and with bacon

Stored away safely on LV-426, thank you very much!
