Physics is broken

This thing I ordered is clearly about twice as heavy as the box that arrived with it inside. That box was light like it was empty, then I take out the item, and the item is heavy.

Physics is a lie!

I've been working for a little while on a theoretical framework that redefines binary into the core of physics, but it actually expands binary just a little, into something more primal and flexible. Keep an eye out over the years, if you hear about "UBM" becoming the next big thing, you know that was me.

I won't tell you what UBM stands for, but rest assured, the B stands for binary.

Thanks for the article, I need to research exactly what these guys were talking about in their work, because it's possible they've already described the system I'm going for, or maybe even I've noticed something they didn't. Either way is exciting!

=)

It happened to me also.

Don't let the post office know this happens, if they figure out that some items get lighter inside a box, they'll compensate by charging us more postage!

reply

I don't use post office much often,Frogarama.

reply

I think it has something to do with density... Or that you assumed the box would be heavier and the item lighter.

Leverage

reply

Usually in these situations, the box is a lot bigger than the contents, which alters expectations... But this time, it was a good fit and the box was almost the same size as the item.

reply

Oh. That changes things, lol. No idea what happened, then!

reply

perhaps the box has anti-gravity properties? Bubble wrap filled with helium instead of air?

reply

I think the box may house a stable wormhole. I shall keep it for investigation and experiments.

reply

Perhaps the grip-dynamics of the box are different than the contents within?

reply

I'm going for the simplest likely explanation: It's a glitch in the gravity processing of our matrix simulation. Before opening the box, the algorithm was excluding the box's contents.

reply

Was what was in the box damaged ?

reply

Nope, not at all. It was a pretty small cube shaped box, not much more than 5 inches per side, so it was decently rigid. Plus the item is metal.

reply

Well,it happened to me when i receive my xbox...the weight of the box was like 12kg...but when i unboxing it,the console in general have,no more then 8kg...weird🤔

I would curse Einstein, Newton or whoever then thank Donnie Darko, Amazon, UPS or whoever and move on.

Consider this a fortunate turn of events.
Mark it and live your life.
As we know this may contain two openings and could collapse at any time.
This would not end well.
Stay safe mi amigo.
