You do not want a white person portraying MLK and you do not want a black person portraying Abraham Lincoln. The reason being is because they are historical people and therefore their race is essential to their character. Now take a character like Catwoman. What about her race is essential? She has been portrayed as other races throughout history before. Eartha Kitt, and she was not white in the Year One comic. Now when Zoe Kravitz was cast in the Batman people screamed woke! What it boils down to is they are used to seeing her portrayed as white therefore it should stay that way. See I posted an example of a person not liking her being cast. I did this to see how you would react. Youtube channels have made a great career out of making grifts by screaming woke and talking about how whites are oppressed. Explain to me how whites are oppressed when they hold they on average make more money and have more roles in Hollywood on average. That just boggles my mind.
