President Biden was mocked by critics after he claimed to have “ended cancer as we know it” during remarks Tuesday.

Biden, 80, made the misstatement during a White House speech about expanding access to mental health treatment.

“I said I’d cure cancer,” he claimed. “They looked at me like, why cancer? Because no one thinks we can. That’s why, and we can.

“We ended cancer as we know it,” added Biden, slurring the last sentence.

The inability of some people to give President Biden his due as the greatest president in the history of presidents saddens me.

He did cure cancer. Now, another form of cellular mutation has taken its place called schmancer but the original cancer has been cured thanks to Biden's efforts.

Cancer and other diseases is a billion dollar business, nothing will ever be done about it. People still die from the flu. Scientists around the World have been working on a cure for diabetes for over 50 years but still have nothing.

That's an odd thing to say as i have several relatives and friends who had cancer and are now cured. There are many types of cancer and there have been enormous advances in early diagnosis, determining what type of cancer it is and the best way to treat it. And many forms are either fully curable. They are many that do not resins to treatment and that's where the bulk of the research is. Considering the curative treatments we have, there is no reason to think that a new curative treatment will be held back.

There are many treatments for type II diabetes. Stem cell therapies for cutting type I diabetes are in the doorstep.

We also know that dietary habits are responsible for the growing incidence of diabetes in our country. However we have conservatives who push back against any agent to try to change people's eating habits because they think that 64oz sugary drinks are protected in the constitution or something.
