Do Trumpers really believe that Tucker Carlson is telling the truth about Jan.6th?

After all, it’s become painfully clear that he lied his ass off about the 2020 election being stolen from Trump. He thinks you’re gullible fools.

reply

I'd better change my opinion about one of the most staggering events in recent history, or I'll be considered "gullible" by some absolute no-name nobody on an old-fashioned internet forum, who I have no idea where they live, what they look like, or whether they've even shaved or showered in the last fortnight

Adults got to have priorities.

reply

He sites facts, it's up to you to investigate to whether or not it's true, but most of what he said can be verified at this point.

reply

You mean "cites"..

Illiteracy level through the roof

reply

One misspelling doesn't equate to illiteracy. Perhaps the definition is beyond you and you yourself need further education? incidentally, I'd like to point out that your reply lacks proper sentence structure and punctuation. As they say, "people in glass houses....". Clearly a deflection from someone trying to avoid acknowledging the truth of my statement. Only the weakest people counter by bitching about spelling mistakes, because they know adressing facts is impossible.

From what I can find Carlson went against the grain early on and was never on board with the stolen election narrative like commentators like Hannity did (in fact, only a handful at FOX anchors jumped on board that bandwagon), at least as far as the dominion voting machines were concerned, even going as far as to call out Sidney Powell some time back on her claims about the dominion machines.

He did show some surveillance video once from Fulton county, GA to question why boxes of ballets were pulled from under tables after the facility had allegedly shut down and everyone was kicked out for a number of hours due to a water leak, and he's stated that voter fraud claims should be taken seriously instead of just laughed off in order to help maintain public trust, and I've seen cilps of him taking rants beyond the scope of logic when his emotions get the better of him, often highlighted by that weird little laugh he does.

But he was never a shill for Trump. And yet many on the Left believe he was. Why is that, exactly?

Never just believe a narrative you're told. Seek out evidence for yourself. Carlson has clearly never been a fan of Trump, and never stated there was ironclad evidence the election was stolen, even when floating the idea that a hint of a fraud and cover up would erode public trust. That doesn't mean he's right about Jan 6th, although the footage speaks for itself, but contemplate for a moment why you believe Carlson claimed the 2020 election was stolen, and then validate if what you believe is actually in accordance with reality.

https://www.newsweek.com/tucker-carlson-election-fraud-may-not-alter-outcome-1546252
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/20/us/politics/Tucker-Carlson-trump.html

And when he did specifically call out one instance of fraud, he apologized when discovering he was wrong:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2020/11/15/fox-news-host-tucker-carlson-apologizes-false-claim-voter-fraud/6303120002/

So he did entertain the idea of election fraud, and still does, but not with the dominion voting machines. What he refers to is things like the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, which admittedly he's not wrong about. And he denounces how the fraud claims were handled. Plus, he came right out and said the fraud he does think happened wouldn't be enough to change the election.

I do think his commentation is colored with bias, but I don't think he "lied his ass off".

Yes, he was on the fence alright...

"Carlson introduced the January 6 footage Monday, which House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) gave him exclusively, by saying the rioters were “right” to believe “that the election they had just voted in had been unfairly conducted.”

He continued, saying “it is clear the 2020 election was a grave betrayal of American democracy,” adding, “No honest person can deny it.”

reply

Looks like he said that just last night. That's the strongest statement on the matter he's come out with, which is interesting given the timing. I'll have to look up what he says after those specific comments, and if he tries to explain what he means by "a grave betrayal of American democracy", "unfairly conducted", "in retrospect" (indicating he's changing his mind and now leans more heavily that direction) and "facts that have since emerged". He's ventured into Hannity, Trump and Hillary territory with that.

So yes, I'd say he was on the fence. But last night may have been a change in stance, with very interesting timing.

reply

Funny how he becomes a firm election denier when FOX is facing million dollar settlement for defamation!

reply

Tucker Carlson is a lying propaganda machine.
How does he sleep at night?

reply

Do you jagoffs really think CNN and MSNBC are telling you the truth, on any topic? Gullible? You shits have believed so many lies, you no longer know what the truth looks like.

reply

Yes they do... It's easier to fool than convinced the fooled they've been fooled.

Explain this video of capital police calmly walking with "Q Anon Shaman" as he casually strolls through the capitol with their assisstance. https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1632953663822913536?s=20

reply

...because of course it's not ALSO been proven that there were some government employees during the trump administration who actually agreed with trumps agenda...and as a result would have ALSO agreed with what "Q Anon Shaman" was doing there that day (so would have been treating a fellow "comrade" in arms with kids gloves).

Explanation = Pretty self-explanatory....unless of course a person doesn't WANT to see it.

reply

YOU'RE the one who doesn't want to see you've been lied to by the January 6 committee.

reply

So then thousands of hours of testimonies were lies?
Ok, sure

reply

People lie dude. Face it. There was zero attempt by anyone to "overthrow" the government. Unless, of course, you truly believe in your heart that Trump supporters are the greatest unarmed threat in known history...

Do you believe that?

No
They’re idiots awaiting trial.

reply

And yet it was you who obviously just ignored (didn't even acknowledge) the possibility I just mentioned. - Eyeroll -

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you didn't even WATCH any of the Jan 6 Committee Hearings in their entirety, relying instead on people like carlson (again) to tell you what to believe with OTHER cherry-picked video segments, a person who was proven just recently to have been lying to his viewers for ratings and because fox "news" stock values were dropping. ; )

reply

I don't care about Tucker...I care about what he showed on the screen.

Which is what we've been saying for 2 years.. a nothing burger.

reply

he lied his ass off about the 2020 election being stolen

But it was stolen...you know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

Trump's predictions have been true so far, and 99% of what we suspected about everything else that you labeled as a conspiracy theory have turned out to be true after months or years....nice try; but you are sheep following other sheep.

You have eyes, but do not see.
You have ears, but do not hear.

reply

If you know the 2020 election was stolen then supply some kind of proof. Trump and his minions haven't provided one shred of proof that the 2020 election was rigged in over two years. Just think, when you provide the proof you will be a hero to Trump and his MAGA supporters. You would actually be changing the world. So let's see it.

reply

All in due time. Did you miss the part where I mentioned "months or years"?!

reply

So you have nothing. Figures. You should pull your head out of Trump's ass and look around. Most Americans hate Trump, the MAGA party is about dead and the GOP wants nothing to do with him. Trump will never be president again. Sorry for you.

reply

Most popular president of all time and his own party doesn't even want him back

reply

Room half full at CPAC!

reply

Did you see the Trump supporters there? I wonder why they dress like clowns.

reply

Members of the Democratic Party admit how Biden and his minions rig the elections against each other like they did when Hillary was elected nominee. Apparently; they are at it again.

It is ironic how they casually and indirectly imply/suggest ahead of time what their intentions are or will be.
Similar to how they did with the pipelines before they sabotaged them…lol

Marianne Williamson accuses DNC of ‘rigging’ primary system for Biden:

Democrat presidential candidate Marianne Williamson: "The DNC should not be rigging the system. They don’t even pretend anymore."

Q: "So that’s what’s going on, they’re rigging the system for Biden?"

Williamson: "They even admit that, Jonathan."

reply

So that's your proof? Why not show the complete video instead of a few seconds out of context. It must painful for you to be so stupid.

reply

Google is your friend...don't be such a lazy little bitch.

reply

You the one making claims that the 2020 election was rigged so back them up. It's not my job to do research for you. Why are you refusing to show the complete video?

reply

And why the fuck are you refusing to search for it?

reply

Because I want you to provide the proof you claim to have. If it's so easy to lookup then do it. Prove me wrong if you can you retarded idiot.

reply

You fucking imbecile, I just provided proof that they rig elections against each other and one of their own admitted it. Now provide evidence to refute it or shut the fuck up.

reply

Calm down, toots. You are getting very upset because you have no proof of your claims. A fifteen second video with a woman nobody knows claiming the election was rigged is not proof.

I'm done with you. You are one of the stupidist persons I've ever seen on this forum so there's no point in continuing this nonsense with you. I'll let you get the last word in if that will make you feel better.

reply

Robocat is like a lawyer in Marvel defending the Kingpin

reply

lol…In that case, the Kingpin would be screwed since he makes a terrible lawyer as all he can do is deflect, is too lazy to refute anything, and uses the same repetitive narrative.

reply

Deflections, deflections, deflections.

So you have "Nothing".

reply

We knew the truth when it happened, Tuckers tapes have absolutely nothing surprising in them
