Transgenderism: What is the "right to EXIST"?

Out of all the people here who have interacted with trans people/advocates, whether for them or against them, have any of you encountered the term "the right to EXIST"?

In another (much more left-leaning) discussion board, I have encountered this phrase several times. It's typically used both as a means to justify their demands and arguments, as well as a defense against criticism and anything that might test them for hypocrisy.

This is most often used by people who do consider gender as a social construct and some sort of ideology, not a clinical or scientific thing. The meaning of the term is still elusive and varied, and I don't want to ask about it in that other place due to the heavy moderation and toxicity.

Does anybody else have a take on this?

29 POSTS AND THEY ARE ALL ABOUT TRANS STUFF...MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST STAY ON THAT OTHER SITE.🙄

reply

You mad, bro?

reply

NO...JUST DISAPPOINTED.

reply

90% of your posts are about dicks.

reply

YEAH...I HAVE ONE...SO...LIKE...I AM KIND OF AN EXPERT.

reply

ROFL! Well, it's Kowalski and he's an expert penguin analysis.

reply

It means what it states - they have a right to exist. Nobody else has a right to make them go away.

reply

Define "exist" for me. Or to be more precise, what would taking away that right even look like?

What's your take on B1cKsurN's explanation (the one directly below)?

reply

They're just using it as an excuse to be in your face and to be seen on tv, and to destroy your kids later in school. It isn't about human rights, it's about power.

reply

Do you exist? Do you have people saying you shouldn't exist?

reply

my father once told me he wished i'd never been born

reply

Me? Yes. And also yes. But what's your point?

So you gonna answer my questions, or should we just conclude it's not something important to begin with?

reply

If you say you exist, then you must know what it means so why are you asking what it means.

In this context, it means to live without being tormented, persecuted and harassed by the law.

But you knew that, didn't you.

If "exist" means the same to them as it does to me, then it makes even less sense why they're complaining about losing their "right to exist". They are not at risk of "not existing anymore".

In this context, it means to live without being tormented, persecuted and harassed by the law.

If this is what it means, then why call it "existing"? That's not what existing means to me, nor what it means literally or even generally.

In any case, you're wrong.

reply

You asked what it means, don't complain when somebody gives you the answer.

reply

B1cKsurN sounds like he didn't think trans people are worthy of existence since he refers to them being in a fantasy world.

reply

"Fantasy world" means they are living in denial of reality, but otherwise clearly still "exist".

But you knew that, didn't you.

reply

They basically mean if you don't play into their fantasy world, then you don't want them to exist. It's just Rules for Radicals bullshit. The fact is that normies in general just don't give a shit about these people, until they start infringing on rights and targeting the children.

reply

Nailed it!

reply

A fair response. But what does it mean to "exist"? And why would they think "existing" requires the rest of us playing their "fantasy world"?

reply

Because their entire personality and existence rests on their transgender status, that's it...nothing else. If you don't acknowledge the fantasy, you aren't acknowledging, in their minds, "them" as people.

reply

Yes, this is exactly it.

To me, they only exist if they go all the way, not give up halfway or just put on a dress and consider themselves trans while still donning the other parts of the previous sex. It you can trick my mind, I can't complain about the trap.

reply

Isn't this just ignorance? The belief that something is true, as long as you don't discover that it is actually false?

Do you really believe that their existence hinges on tricking and trapping your mind?

reply

There's a reason we used to have people like that either locked up in asylums or kept on the fringes of society before the 1960s. But then, people started letting the inmates out....

reply

Guess you like your girlfriend having something dangling between their legs? Who leads.....LOL?
