Do you support the Black Lives Matter movement?

Note: I am being serious with this topic and I am genuinely curious what people think.

I support Black Lives Matter. It is important to highlight and prevent acts of racism in our country and around the world - especially toward Black people. We need to raise awareness of bias and discrimination in order to have a more fair society.

I SUPPORT THE BASELINE SENTIMENT...NOT THE NAME OR THE ACTIONS OF MANY INVOLVED.

reply

I support it although I feel like if it was called "black lives matter too" that would have taken a lot of the rhetorical steam out of whiny conservatives but I guess its less catchy.

conservatives scream "cops lives matter!!" but the idea is obviously that black and minority lives also matter too and they aren't treated as if they do. No one doubles black lives matter.

imagine cops were searching young white girls more and murdering them at a higher rate, the outcry by conservatives would be deafening. But when its a black kid they just say "see he had some weed on him! he was a criminal"

reply

not sure if quoting any statistics would help you here, but young white girls aren't out here committing gun violence, muggings, assaults, robberies, rapes, etc. like black kids are

your hood fell off

reply

keep living in your fantasy world ignoring reason

reply

yes poor people commit WAY MORE crimes. Throw in lack of access to mental health services, easy access to drugs, insane archaic tough on crime drug laws that lead to even higher stakes to get involved selling the, and easy access to firearms leading to strong well armed gangs and you have a recipe for rampant

Why is it black middle class and rich people aren't doing break and enters, stealing cars or selling drugs?

its almost like these factors increase crimes....

your hood keeps slipping off you should put it on and go away. I hear they love your kind on 4chan

you have lived a sheltered life, so i can't blame you for being so naive,
ignorance is the greatest isn't it?

reply

"you have lived a sheltered life, so i can't blame you for being so naive,"

yes im naive because the world is complicated and people who studied this know there are various factors.

please explain your amazing thesis as to why. let me guess it'll dance around some sort of vaguely racist race genetics.

also again nice not addressing people in YOUR PARTIES insane comments.

still waiting for that

oh hell no,
it's an organization that was born of a lie: "hands up, don't shoot" by mike brown

its sole purpose & focus is black supremacy,
it wants all black criminals released from prison
it wants all whites in power to surrender their position to a black person so they can subjugate whites in retaliation for slavery, segregation, etc.

reply

Everyone's lives matters no matter what your race, color, creed, national origin, religion, or sex is.

An average of 700 people are murdered every year in Chicago with the majority of them being black. So obviously black lives don't matter. They only matter when it can be used as a talking point and an excuse to burn, loot and murder.

The majority of crime and shootings in my city happens in the black neighborhoods.

I support All Lives Matter.

reply

All lives matter even people that are black. You would think that is obvious.

reply

BLM naming in itself has created tension and anger for many turning them into 'racists' as you would call it because they believe ALL LIVES MATTER. I agree with Kowalski's statement. Blacks started making things about themselves thereafter like Black Trans Lives Matter, like WTF?
