Do you support the Black Lives Matter movement?

Note: I am being serious with this topic and I am genuinely curious what people think.

I support Black Lives Matter. It is important to highlight and prevent acts of racism in our country and around the world - especially toward Black people. We need to raise awareness of bias and discrimination in order to have a more fair society.

reply

No. BLM is anti-MLK.

MLK was about content of character. How you idiots have forgotten his "I have a Dream" speech so soon and turned you back on it only shows you don't want to end racism, but needed for your continued victimhood.

Idiots like Ibram X. Kendi, who has no PhDs or a law degree has managed to monetize racism to everybody's expense. Instead of building on what has already been accomplished, he just spouts generalities like systemic racism without ever pointing out a specific instance. He advocates for socialism while benefiting from a capitalist society.

Let's use an example. LeWoke James. Basketball player, but will never be the GOAT because of Michael Jordan, is very good. Since he's taller, stronger and more agile than the average Joe, it makes him in high demand and is paid accordingly. Well, everybody should be given the same chance in a socialist system as Kamala's video showed. We need that extra help in order to level the playing field. Because average Joe isn't as talented as LeWoke, average Joe should be given an advantage to level the playing field, right? Once the playing field is leveled, everybody will be the same so LeWoke won't need to be paid so much because his talent has now been leveled. That is fair, isn't it?

reply

I agree with your post, but I’m laughing my ass off at “LeWoke”!!! I love that! 🤣😂🤣

Every update I get from my Bleacher Report sports app on my phone is some supposedly breaking news that LeBron tweeted something, like it’s the biggest news ever. It’s ridiculous how much they worship everything he says, and these days it’s usually about politics of course, because if anyone knows politics, it’s professional athletes like LeBron James. 🙄

reply

Being tall, strong and more agile does not guarantee you will make the NBA let alone have the career James has. Genetics do play a part in it but talent is involved as well. There are plenty of guys his size that could not dream of being as talented as him.

reply

That's not the point, dunce. The point is the playing field is required to be leveled, thus LeWoke's natural born talents must be compensated to level the playing field. Thus, everybody that isn't as good as him, must be given an artificial advantage to level the playing field. Thus, if everybody is equal, why should he be paid anymore than anybody else, right? That's fair, innit?

reply

Lol this is a cookie cutter argument. Let me ask two questions did everyone who is rich become rich by hard work? Also is everyone who is poor inherently lazy?

reply

How do these questions correlate to my point? Pray tell?

reply

Answer them and you will see.

reply

You mean those questions aren’t rhetorical??? Seriously??? Stupid much???

reply

So no answer then?

reply

You don't know what rhetorical means, do you? Seriously??? Stupid much???

reply

You won't answer because your point will fall apart if you do. Your ignorance is dismissed.

reply

Since you don't know what rhetorical means, I guess I have to answer it for you. No and no. Okay. Let's hear your explanation, retard.

reply

Oh I know what it means and very well. Okay so you agree not everyone got rich by hard work and not everyone who is poor is by default lazy.

Everyone in the NBA starts off with 0 points, 0 titles, 0 mvps, 0 all league defense selections etc. Is that how real life is? Do we all start off at 0 like in the NBA? Genetics do help you there is no denying that but we all do not start off at a 0 stat line like in the NBA. Some people come from a successful functional family who has money, some people grow up poor with a dysfunctional family. No one is saying life can be totally fair, that is impossible, but we should do our best to at least attempt to make it fair. So how do we level the playing field in the NBA like you are saying? Give me your solution. The person who grows up poor with a dysfunctional family is not going to be gifted the same opportunities the person who came from money will be. Does that mean they can't achieve success no, but it makes it much harder because of more obstacles to overcome.

reply

If LeWoke or anybody else for that matter is taller, stronger and more agile than me, it means they have an unfair advantage from the very start. Thus, I should be compensated at the very start to level the playing field, right? That is fair, innit?

Why was that so fucking hard to understand?

reply

Okay so how do you do that? You never answered the question I gave you either. Does everyone start at a 0 stat line in life like in the NBA?

reply

How? A point spread. A lower rim. A closer 3 pt line and FT line. LeWoke wears a sandbag.

That was easy if you had a creative mind, but clearly you don’t.

Yes. Everybody starts at 0 but is everyone a potential #1 draft pick? Nope. But everyone should be, right? That would be fair, yes?

reply

Okay but you are also dismantling your own point. Michael Jordan was 6,6 216 pounds, LeBron James is 6,8 250 pounds. Jordan still averaged more ppg, more all league defense selections, more titles, more season mvps in less playing time. How did he manage that since LeBron had him beat genetically?

What difference does your draft place play? Manu Ginóbili was the 57th second round pick at 6,6 and Greg Oden was the number 1 overall pick 7,0. Manu Ginóbili is considered a superior player by every person who analyzes basketball. so um...

reply

As I said from the very beginning, your questions don’t correlate to the point. The point is a level playing field. Can a 5’1 woman play in the NBA? Does she need an advantage to level the playing field, yes or no? If yes, then the playing field isn’t fair, is it?

reply

I just dismantled your point. Jordan is considered better than LeBron how did he pull that off if LeBron is considered superior genetically? Muggsy Bogues was 5,3 and he played in the NBA. When was the last time a woman played in the NBA? Also your draft point was lame also. What difference does where or what place you are drafted make? Everyone starts off at 0 when entering the NBA. Life is not the same that way it was a bad comparison.

reply

Is Mugsy Boggs as good as LeWoke? Is he even close? So he needs a handicap doesn’t he? The point isn’t the NBA, but every single player at the exact same playing ability. Try to pay attention to the point, retard.

reply

Is LeBron as good as Jordan? Your point gets debunked right there.

Is Greg Oden as good as Allen Iverson? Is he even close? Allen Iverson stands at 6,0, Greg Oden is 7,0. Allen Iverson is a first ballot hall of famer Greg Oden is not.

reply

That’s right. The player that isn’t as good as the other requires an advantage to level the playing field. That’s what I’ve been saying all this time. I mean, duuuhhhhhhhhhh....

reply

This is literally like talking to a wall. Allen Iverson is a first ballot hall of famer. He stands at 6,0, Greg Oden is 7,0. How did one player make the hall of fame and the other did not? Guess what both were the first overall pick in their draft as well. What happened?

Lets even take another one. Anthony Bennet stands at 6,8 245 pounds, Allen Iverson is 6,0 165 pounds. Allen Iverson averaged better stats in every single category. Both were also the first overall pick in their draft. What happened?

reply

What happened is Oden can't play. Thus, in order for him to be able to play, he needs the other team to be handicapped or he needs an advantage to level the playing field.

I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....That's basic common sense.

Clearly Iverson is a better player. Thus, in order to level the playing field, either Iverson must be handicapped or the other player needs an advantage.

I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....That's basic common sense.

reply

Okay since he has the edge genetically what else do we need to do to help Oden and Bennet be equal to Iverson?

Your point has been destroyed here man. You said that if a player is not as tall or strong than we need to level the playing field. Iverson is not as strong or as tall as Oden. So pray tell what else must be done?

You abandoned the draft pick point as well lol. Iverson is better than a lot of people who are genetically superior to him. Guess what everyone starts at 0 in the NBA. Genetics help but they can be overcome as I just proved.

reply

I already told you, retard. A point spread. A longer shot clock for them. A closer 3 pt line. A closer FT line. Whatever. The point is to level the playing field.

I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....how stupid are you?

Is height an advantage in playing basketball, yes or no?

Is strength and agility an advantage in playing basketball, yes or no?

I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....That is only obvious, isn't it? Stupid much?

Everybody should be a #1 draft pick. What you failed to understand is that every draft class is different. The draft picks require a benchmark to level the playing field. I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....pay attention for two seconds and maybe you'd understand something.

Okay then. How does a dwarf overcome playing against LeWoke straight up? Pray tell?

reply

The playing field is in their favor and they still failed to be better than Iverson. Remember this is the logic you yourself are trying to use. So technically this would make Iverson be even better than he already is right?

Height is an advantage yes but guess what Iverson stands at 6,0 and Bennet stands at 6,8. What happened?

Yep strength and agility are an advantage so why is Iverson better than Bennet?

What difference does the draft pick make? You keep failing to address this. Iverson was the number 1 pick overall as was Bennet. What happened? Why are they not even close in terms of accolades and stats? Iverson is at a disadvantage right? Manu Ginóbili has better stats than Anthonny Bennet. Anthony Bennett was 245 pounds and was 6,8 he was the first overall pick of the first round. Manu Ginóbili was 6,6 205 pounds and was 57th overall pick of the second round. Why does Manu have better stats all around? What happened?

reply

How is the playing field in their favor if Iverson is a better player? Oden maybe taller, but he CAN'T PLAY. Thus, he needs an advantage to level the playing field. I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Do you always overlook the obvious?

Height is an advantage! Wow! You've been enlightened! Why is Iverson better? Because he can shoot better. Thus, Bennet requires AN ADVANTAGE to level the playing field. I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....How many times must I point out the obvious?

Every draft class is different in talent, right? Yet, in order to level the playing field, every draft pick from #1 to #1000 should be the same in order the level the playing field. Thus, it doesn't matter if you draft #1 or #1000, because you'd get the exact same output regardless of talent level. That's fair, innit? How the hell can't you understand that simple concept???

reply

Because as you yourself stated look at the genetics. Iverson is 6,0 Oden is 7,0. Both were first overall picks of their draft class. Oden has the genetic advantage already. Both started off at 0 when entering the NBA. It can't get anymore fair for Oden than that.

It is an advantage but guess what Iverson still is the better player. Anyone can practice shooting, tell me can Iverson practice on being taller?

They are different but it makes no difference when you get drafted. Everyone who is drafted has the opportunity to prove themselves. As I pointed out just because you are drafted high does not mean you will be a good player, and just because you are drafted low does not mean you will be a bad player. Seriously quit while you are ahead dude you are truly being silly. You lost this point. How do you make every draft the same? What is your solution to this?

Your whole point is a cookie cutter right wing point. Life can never be 100% fair, that is the simple truth. However we should do our best to make it as fair as we can.

reply

As you already admitted, height is an advantage, but height alone is not the only factor that determines a good player, does it? Is a 7 footer on crutches better than a 6 footer in playing basketball? I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Why do I have to continuously tell you the obvious???

You obviously don't understand the point I'm making. Just to be clear, is it fair that people that are more talented get drafted higher than those that aren't and are paid accordingly, yes or no?

reply

Lol this is literally funny now. Was Oden on crutches? He was not otherwise he would not have been able to play. So your crutches point is dismissed.

Answer my question first. Does your place in the draft determine if you will be a good player in the NBA? Yes or no? If yes why.

reply

So then why didn't Oden play in his first year or second year or third year? I mean, duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....you can't even admit simple facts.

Answer my question as you've strayed so far from the original point that it requires you to be put back on track.

You still have failed to answer how your original two questions even correlate to the point.

reply

He did suffer through injury but what about Bennet lol? Also that makes no difference he still got the chance to play and prove himself and never did average good stats. The point is also irrelevant because do they count stats for games you don't play? Nope they don't. Oden only gets measured for the games he plays and Iverson beats him. I'm going off the games which are measured smart one.

I gave you an answer. Now answer my questions. Does your draft placement determine if you will be a good player or not?

reply

Where's the answer? I don't see it. Post it again.

reply

Last chance answer the questions or we are done here.

reply

Repost your answer you stated you already answered before you run away Lila a little bitch.

reply

We are done here.

reply

This User458 guy never met a Logical Fallacy he didn't like.

reply

Are you stepping in to continue this idiot’s horseshit? Be my guest, hater.

reply

Oh trust me I know. It would kill him to admit defeat. His mental gymnastics are truly baffling.

reply

See that? You couldn’t even repost an answer you said you already stated. Pathetic.

reply

No.
