I found it unrealistic completely! Ultra wealthy people are the biggest, cheapest tightwads on the planet. No way a live-in caretaker would have quarters like that, instead, they'd be living in a room that looks more like a broom closet (Think of The Nanny Diaries). I should know. I work for a very wealthy family and they spend thousands on charity each year, but drive old shit buckets & pay their employees like shit. They also won't pay benefits or anything else. Cheap as hell!

I couldn't stand Thelma. She reminds me of a cousin of mine: a utter moron. Louise wasn't much better. She let Thelma talk her into stopping at that dance hall. She also didn't call the police when it happened. That was idiotic in/of itself.

I see that same statement on a lot of movies and will never understand what, exactly it means. This is an old movie. Why would it need to meet current PC standards?

Florida? Hmmm. I'd prefer cold & freezing than hideously hot & muggy where it's so sticky, your butt cheeks are glued shut 24/7, even after you take a shower. Also, nobody appreciates roaches the size of shoes walking about, mosquitoes sucking your blood as soon as you step foot outside and hostile New Yorkers everywhere you turn. Not to mention ugly strip shopping centers, apartments, tract housing and traffic for all the eye to see. No thanks!
