Don't know what you're talking about tbh, but in the middle of the movie I was thinking that maybe Tau actually [i]was[/i] a person, one of the previous captives who's mind was transferred to the computer, and what Alex was planning to do to Julia next.
Yeah it was. But why the comparison? Because this felt/looked a bit like an Alex Garland movie? I suppose it did.,
I guess I can see the comparison between this and Ex Machina though cos of the AI stuff.

I watched it (and Angel) for the first time ever this year, and I found them to be pretty ahead of their time (TV storytelling wise). So I agree it's definitely aged well in that regard. But look/feel, is obviously very 90s/early 2000s if you watch the original 4x3 SD version. The HD version may look more modern but they DNR'd the ever loving shit out of it which is a shame. Not sure what version you saw. I started with the HD versions but switched to SD during season 3 I think it was.

I saw the first 2 seasons of Mr Robot I think. It was kind of interesting early on I guess, but as it went on it turned into pretentious rubbish.

Oh well at least it will be a longer season.
After finding out season 6 will have 13 episodes, I have a feeling the final 3 will be all about post-BB events.
Or they'll at least be doing something different and special, since there's only 10 opening titles.
I do wonder though, if his death had anything to do with a sequel never being made despite room being left open for one, or why the action figure series by Hasbro was never completed. (Butch Meathook, Link Static and Ocula never received 6" figures for some reason)
Not sure, but in the trailer there is a clip of Phil Fimple jokingly saying something like "I think I'm having an aneurysm". That clip was not used in the final movie, possibly to not upset anyone because of Hartman's death.

He's not interested in the Hollywood life. Good for him I say. Plus there's really not much point in him returning to acting anyway, as there will never be a better role for him than Jack Shephard. LOST was his and the other cast members peak.
