If the intent was to save humanity in the most efficient way, why would you bring any males at all? If you bring all females with for the 1st gen crew, you could simply stock the ship with man batter and inseminate them as necessary. This would also greatly increase genetic diversity.

When I asked him why he was like "they never shut up and there is constant drama". I told him back I didn't believe the kids were this bad. Well, they made it seem, or tried to make us, the audience, think that the scientists and engineers had worked out all the kinks. When you were watching this did you wonder why they let this one single guy go up with all these kids? He should have at least had others in the adult crew. Then also, where did the motivation for the bad kids come from to shock or kill or play around with the life of their parent figure. And also, why were they so not practiced in extravehicular space walks. I would think they would be trained and train in spacewalking and safety measures for when they actually have to do it.
