To be perfectly honest, I prefer the later ones than the first three. The first two were decent enough, but the third was the weakest due to how convoluted the story was and the dragged out pacing. Ghost Protocol is where the movie franchise started to grow on me and Rogue Nation and Fallout continued the trend of great action movies that push the boundaries in terms of execution. Just saw Dead Reckoning Part One and while I understand that many people here aren't always gonna be impressed, I, on the other hand, am always gonna have a blast. If my opinion sounds controversial, I apologize.

They all blur together... it's like watching the same movie over and over again. I don't even know if I watched the last one or not, and if I watched it now I probably still couldn't tell you. It's just the same film being remade over and over again, a la Fast and Furious or Jurassic Park films. The only exception is part 3, which is a truly excellent film.

yeah, any list that does not have #2 as way behind the pack, is bunk.

here's mine: 1, 5, 3, 6, 7, 4, ........ 2

1. First one is still boss, the plot is wild and no one films a movie like DePalma
2. 4 the Abu Dhabi climb is an all time action sequence
3-4: 5 and 6 the action sequences continued to turn it up a notch.
5. 3- some might have it higher but mostly the best I remember from this one was PSH giving a great villain turn, best of the whole series.
6. 7, don't mean to be mean to it. I love it. Just think its a bit over long for the plot its giving us.
7. 2, I don't hate it, John Woo has a particularly style though that kinda went outside of what the rest of the series really was though
