3 Great Episodes So Far...
What a refreshing change from some of the recent Marvel TV shows! It isn't that they've been awful, but Loki reminds me of how great the MCU can be.

Hopefully this Loki will remain a Scallywag, but they are trying hard to give him a redeeming story arc. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been successful because the characters have been beloved.
I could see Marvel/Disney building the next phases around Villains and Anti-Heroes before reverting to their staple of classic Heroes, (maybe flawed and tragic) but Heroes in subsequent Phases.

I dunno, I've kind of lost the thread and therefore interest. I no longer know who're the good vs. bad guys are or what anyone's motivations are other than running around and screaming a lot. Perhaps that's just a consequence of having all the timelines etc., but I mostly watch TV to take a mental break, not to feel like I'm studying for a PhD qualifier exam in trying to keep track of everything. Maybe I need to go back and re-watch season 1. Probably also a result of all these mini-seasons that Disney seems so fond of. They're fine for a while, but eventually you get tired of tapas and want to sit down to a proper meal. It's like, why invest all the effort if it's going to all be over in less than 2 months?
shareYou really aren't able to ascertain that Loki and Mobius are the good guys and Renslayer and Miss Minutes are the bad guys?
I much prefer the shorter, 6 to 8 episode seasons to their 13 to 20 episode counterparts. When I rewatched Loki season 1 it felt like watching a long, tightly-knit film as opposed to an episodic, filler-laden, drawn out tale, which is usually what longer shows become. Then again, I never feel it's an effort to an enjoy a great film or TV show, nor do I have trouble following the storyline the way you seem to, so that may be the difference right there.
You must be watching a different show then, because Loki season 2 has been the usual mediocre D+ show, and I'm being generous with the term "mediocre". The pacing is terrible, Loki feels more neutered than ever, Kang is still the cringiest villain they've had yet, and the supporting cast isn't likable at all.
The only praise I can give is that it's not as boring as Ahsoka.
Lol so in other words the only one allowed an opinion is yourself. Keep on lining Disney's pockets. I will laugh at you while they plague your entertainment.
shareYep. They really miscast this Kang villain. He is so boring and not there. Maybe even another actor could do nothing about him too. Its just weak and boring villain.
I’m actually bored out of my mind with those 3 episodes. I dont understand what is happening and have no connection to any of the character. Its like some random people walk around and say weird stuff only they understand.
Their viewership are probably very down from first season. I wonder if they will make third season. There is no hype around it no one is talking about "new twists" since there are none.
There's been a lot of talk and theorizing about it. That you aren't aware of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
