Best of the Three Disney+ Shows

I can only base this on the one episode that has been released, but I am far more enrapt by this than I was either of the first two Disney+ shows. WandaVision was very good, and the first episode was great, but it was not to the level of the initial episode of Loki.

Because both Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson are excellent, accomplished actors, and perhaps also because Loki has been such in integral part of the film cycle, this felt much more cinematic than the other shows. The first hour is absolutely on par with most any of the MCU films.

As always, Marvel gives us a perfect balance of plot and character, peppered with perfectly timed comedic moments, all tied together with deeply moving emotional moments. They have again created something completely fresh, unlike any previous film or show, that adheres to whatever indefinable atmosphere they've created to surround all their properties. Even though everything they put out is completely different from anything that preceded it, it always has a wit and intelligence about it, and Loki is no different; better, even, than many other MCU releases.

Agreed. Loki's charisma is on another level, compared to Falcon,Wanda, etc. we can really feel that this show is more important than the previous two.

Yes, but that’s a low bar.

Correction: Yes, and that’s an extremely high bar according to so many non-naysayers/non-propagandists not on these miserable boards.

Keep killing it, big M! You know the kewl online detractors don’t speak for most.

To each their own. I gave up on Disney’s other Marvel and Star Wars streaming series after 1-3 episodes because I was bored. But I like Tom and his characterization of Loki so I am hoping for better.

Nah, Falcon would be best easily if there wasn’t the weak link actor who played the Karlee character

The first amazingly unique show in this new era of small screen Marvel live-action projects (WandaVision) was sublime. Its best overall moments were absolutely no less awe-inspiring than anything we saw in Loki’s first episode, as far as I’m concerned. But comparing WandaVision’s first (even second) episode to Loki’s premiere episode doesn’t seem fair given how radically different both were from each other. In short, the two went for a very different effect, if you will (Wanda’s early episodes were ‘course modeled after and mainly played out like classic sitcoms). As for the second show? Didn’t quite have the wow factor of WandaVision, but nevertheless it was well-executed, impactful and very much relevant (usual detractors be damned).

That said… sure, with only one episode in Loki is looking like it’s going to be on another level in terms of scale and narrative (trailers alone made it seem that way). And Disney+? I wouldn’t leave it there — it’s the best of the three legit MCU shows so far. ;) Yes… and high bar indeed! Things are only gonna get better and better.

I liked Wandavision better, but it's definitely better than Falcon and the White Wolf.

Wandavision was an exceptional and creative show. Loki will have to be very good to top that. It's a little muddled in the first two episodes.
