How the hell did this get good reviews?

This was not good at all. Not tense enough to be horror and not campy enough to being any fun either. All of the "good" bits were spoiled by the trailer and since it's PG-13 all the kills were lame too. Complete waste of time and not sure what the critics were smoking when they saw this.

It wasn't a masterpiece but it was an interesting movie in the mediocre times we live. It doesn't bother me that it has no gore, that's a good thing, but it has other issues like not very convincing actors. It's an OK movie

It was decent. Nothing ground breaking, but still a well made sci-fi thriller.

It got good reviews because most people thought it was good, which it was.

It wasn't the greatest movie ever made, but it was a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be going into it.

I agree. The first two deaths are off screen. Then the movie focuses on the 'horror' of an unwanted child being pushed into the life of a young ambitious woman, her total failure as an aunt, mother, and human being.

The acting was so bad it was kinda funny.

Megan was the whole movie...she had a sarcastic type of humor.
If they do a number 2 they should step that up .

I enjoyed it, and IMAGINATION (hugely rated a true bomb by critics)
