When will they make a historical drama set in Africa or Asia with Whites as historic Africans and Asians?

We could have a Shaka Zulu movie with Gerard Butler as King Shaka. Or maybe the story of Genghis Khan, the Mongol ruler, with Josh Brolin as Genghis. Diversity!

Legendary actors John Wayne and Omar Sharif have both played Genghis Khan in movies, both productions were terribly miscast and sucked…much like this one.

So was it OK to have John Wayne as Genghis Khan? No because it's ridiculous, as is Bridgerton.

They already have. Repeatedly. Ancient Egyptians and Judeans were not WASPs. And John Wayne already portrayed Genghis Khan.

Shhh! Don't spoil the white supremacist "woe is me" delusions by mentioning the long estabslished track record of white European actors portraying non white historic figures and cultures & certainly don't bring up Exodus OR Gods of Egypt which both came out a few years ago.

Those films mentioned are widely regarded as sucking - so it's ok to say this show sucks too I guess :).

Yeah, I would like to see Gerard Butler screaming, "I AM SHAKA ZULU!"

Then he can dance to that oldie hit "I feel for you" by Chaka Kahn.
