luke deepfake partially fixed on youtube

The skin tone and the lighting are much better - but deepfakes don't do well when placed on top of seriously messed up originals. As such, the mouth movements are still screwed up. disney should have had an actual actor say the lines and then put deepfake on top and it would have come off well. In this instance, based on the mouth movements, it seems like they were using the same tech as they did with superman -

I had to look him up because I didn’t know who he was. I feel he looks like Luke.

That’s not a picture of Stan on the right. It’s a pic of Hamill and Stan’s faces digitally morphed together.

The amount of morphing is tiny. It's basically Stan's face with Hamill's hair.

The mouth (audio-to-voice synthesizer) was slightly out of sync for luke.
I just watched the one from superman, the df actually looks better than the original.

Given the timing of when all this took place and what Luke would have looked like (would have still had the scarred face) one can only assume that this was not really Luke, it was an impostor who took the child so that next season the Mandalorian can spend 10 episodes trying to rescue him. Which will help Disney sell more baby Yoda dolls as an additional benefit.
