Lmao it’s the Aussie expats in Mexico you have to worry about?

That was absolutely bizarre. And entirely unrealistic

reply

Agreed. That was pretty ridiculous.

reply

It was realistic. Read up on the history of Australia. Australia used to be a prison for the British Empire. All Aussie's come from a family tree of criminals. Most likely they were in Mexico, as part of a caravan, working their way to our southern border

reply

All Aussie's come from a family tree of criminals.

Fucking hell millsey!

reply

We can't live in denial. This must be acknowledged about the history of Australia. The continent was once a prison

reply

What all Aussies are descended from prisoners?

reply

Most of them are. Obviously some of the population have moved there who weren't born in Australia. But the ones who were born in Australia all inherited criminal like brains from their ancestors. Its just in their DNA

reply

Most of them are

So not all then eh?

reply

Why do you keep falling for the most obvious trolls on this site?

reply

No, not all. Maybe next season we will get some kind of backstory on these Aussie guys in Mexico. I want to know why they live a criminal life.

reply

Yeah, that was weird. I'm guessing that since Miguel was going to run into his dad who was a criminal, they didn't want to show Mexico as being riddled with crime but at the same time, they wanted and added bit of drama (and a fight scene) to start things off with. Enter: random Australian surfers/muggers.

reply

Yeah but only white males can be villains now. In reality the white Aussie would be a victim himself.

I also though the dream sequence where she is thinking about Johnny and the baby, the baby was probably a little too dark given he is white and she is also not that dark herself. I know genetics is a crap shoot but it just struck me as odd.

reply

Woulda been great if they had run into Bodhi from Point Break!

He really did paddle to New Zealand!

reply

"And entirely unrealistic".

Welcome to Cobra Kai. Paper thin plots, weak as water premises and two dimensional bad guys.

Not saying I'm going to stop watching it tho, this show has some intangible quality I just can't resist.

reply

What was bizarre was just how quickly they wrapped up that whole storyline, but it was probably for the best.
