Okay...she’s not “Shamu the Killer Hick from the trailer park”...but she had no biznizz wearing that costume for a photo shoot.

reply

Unless it was a photo shoot for Daisy's Cottage Cheese.

Your average American woman is just over 5’ 4” and weighs 168 pounds.

Your average American woman is disgustingly fat, with tats, to make it even worse.

reply

"I feel pretty... obese"

reply

Not to state the obvious but intelligent, sane, people do not call people names and curse like a 12 year old who thinks she is cool.

Intelligent, sane people understand the dangers of obesity...

reply

Sadly, it seems like the new normal these days. I'm stuck in a super store a lot of the time, and the candy and sugary cereals are everywhere. You can get fresh healthy produce, but it's not as popular as the junk. And I'm not a stickler when it comes to diet. I don't understand how so many people can get so fat.

reply

MalkovichHalkovi My issue isn't that I disagree with obesity. It's that people pretend to care about fat people to justify them calling them names. They need to just be real and admit they hate them for how they look. I seriously hope you are not one of those people.

reply

I think fat-shaming is pathetic. If people are overweight and happy with themselves, that's their prerogative.

That said, I'm not sure if we should be celebrating obesity or even being overweight, as if it's some badge of honour, or as personally desirable as being a healthy weight (and by that I do stress that being underweight is not a healthy weight).
