You'd think so , but we've been here before with DF coming after Genisys (and even Genisys after Salvation) so its not completely out of the question that Cameron might be planning on rejuvenating Terminator again once he's done in Avatar (or maybe even inbetween), perhaps even directing the oft desired 2029 blue night 'Future War' movie ... like a challenge, to do the impossible and finally right the franchise after 4 disappointments in a row

You CAN'T be serious, with Arnie's "old" Terminator doing what he does in Dark Fate?

My order would be:
T2>T1>T3>Salvation>DF>Genysis

And to be honest, I would only really consider the first three.

Maybe on a $10,000 budget.

I think the days of 200 million dollar budgeted films are a thing of the past. For now anyway.

As seen with Genisys and Dark Fate if your gonna do a sequel you have to change the template up, you give us the exact same thing in a new gift wrapping we're gonna open it up and say "Dude I've got one of these".

I liked dark fate. But I definitely think a change up in the template is what we need. I wouldn't be upset if they went small scale, almost horror style film with a terminator. no end of the world, just a terminator doing its thing with random obstacles. Or even terminator in space. Something new.
