Very Sad
Deviates a bit (as expected) from the actual story but its done well and works well. A bit slow paced at times but the movie is solid. The only complaint is the climactic moment of the storm is only a matter of seconds.
7/10.

I agree. it's told well enough but has some draggy parts.
Have a short review of this one on my Youtube movie review channel if you're interested-https://youtu.be/FAD94ZwRjAA

sharenope, i'm working my way towards a goal i've had all my life so I can't stop.
shareThat's pretty douchey...dude has a dream and you're telling him to stop doing something that has virtually zero affect at all on you...whatsoever, just to piss on it a little?
Kind of a shitty way to be, you know?
Like the dream of the Nigerian Prince who contacts you on email with an investment opportunity.
shareSince it wasn't a storm movie, I could forgive the short storm sequence.
I thought it was interesting how they saved it for the end by using flashbacks, as well as using it to hide the fact that Richard never actually survived the storm.
I was legitimately surprised by that reveal - I'd assumed they happy-ending'ed the actual story to make Tami seem more heroic.
I liked it much more than I thought I would. I too was surprised by the reveal, it was pretty sad. Good movie.
