Best holodeck episode ever

Damn that was good stuff.

best episode by far this season.

The show continues to get better with each episode.

It was semi-interesting, but I thought the whole premise was not worthy of a real episode. It was simply a vehicle for special effects, eye candy. The parents were ridiculous, and also the idea that big structural members inside a ship like that are going to fall down like pillars in a Greek temple was dumber than dumb. If you went through something like that and did not know what was going on it would be sanity threatening - for example there have been a number of experiments where people were fed large doses of hallucinogens and did not know what was happening and ended up doing damage to themselves or suiciding. The plot made no sense, it did not develop the characters an inch, and then also relied on the silly idea that there are thunderstorms in space.

Hated this ep. The premise was a stretch, the effects were cheese, and the whole thing ended up being a waste of time cause nothing was real, and not so much as a slap on the wrist after? Truly surprised so many fans loved this one.

You never know how real comments in the Internet are Tandy ... and Last Man On Earth has not been that great since Season 1 ... closure, closure ... closure, closure, closure! :-D

reply

Yeah, Last Man has been a real bear to watch lately.

The episode was really fun. There was an alligator in the cargo hold. I smashed it with a chair.

I liked it, too. Not sure, after this one ("surgery" scene) and the last (inside the green glob dude) that I can look at the doctor the same way again, though. Despite that, each episode gets better.

Interesting until you learn the truth. Let's have an episode full of odd occurrences but use the holodeck as an easy (and lazy) way out of writing a good explanation for the episode.

I thought it sucked.
