The poor thing having a swim then he sees that big thing in the water and swims in the other direction, hope he survives.

They usually do, however unrealistic it is. Even Jaws killed a dog.

Actually, he is named Pippin, but that was close enough for me!

As per the internet, it is Pippet.

Of course, given that this is the internet, the dog's real name may be Raymond LuxuryYacht.

It was strenuous and rough, but she made it through the movie.
