The Wil actor

What's his name, is still a minor. For the last two seasons, or for the last 4 years, i.e. since his early teens, he's been coached to be gay. The essence of his character is feeling unrequited same-sex love, and he needs to channel that through his emotions and behavior in front of the camera.
If he was an adult actor, it would be fine, but in this way it seems as though a child has been groomed for gayness. What if the actor ends up being gay in real life? Would it be OK to ask then would he have become one had he not been made to play a gay character during a significant part of his childhood?

I doubt he'll "turn" gay from acting as a closeted gay in a TV show

As I said, if he was an adult, mature person, then it's just a job. But, the Wil actor is still a minor, meaning, far more impressionable, particularly at an even younger age when they started with this gay subplot, which I think started in Season 3, or maybe even 2. He was what then, 13, 14? And the producers walked up to him, "You need to be secretly in love with Mike."

He came out as gay a couple of days ago. Not suggesting the TV show made him gay.

You can't turn gay for acting gay no mather what age your at. Child or not. You are born that way and acting gay at a teenage age will not change that. Like he will not turn straight if he was allready gay irl if he had a girl crush in the show. It don't work that way.

Proof that people are not "born gay" can be found in the fact that a large number of teens in Gen Z are self-identifying as gay.

All through history, the number of gays has remained stable at about 3.5% but in the last decade, coinciding with the huge gay propaganda push by Leftist media, that number has risen to about 7.5%.

If people were "born gay" the number of gays would not dramatically rise. What's happening is that people are being swayed by media to ID as and experiment with the gay lifestyle.

What? No, this is so stupid. The number has always been around 7.5%. It's just that more of them were closeted. They feel safer to come out now.

Do you have concrete proof of that? How can you prove it was always 7.5%? You cannot. In a few years, about half of that 7.5 % will realize they were subjected to media pressure and take on a straight lifestyle.

I never understand when people say someone can be groomed into being gay. Mostly because it suggests that sexuality is groomed into us. So if it's wrong that he's being groomed into being gay, it's also wrong that he's being groomed into being straight by society, because grooming is wrong.

But from what I can tell, this is just a job. He has a family, friends, a life, school, female crushes outside of the show. He's literally named Zendaya as his celebrity crush since the show started airing and hasn't stopped. So I don't think playing a role is an issue for his sexuality, either way.

Have you read the OP? He is in the show since very early teens, with homosexuality being floated since couple of seasons ago. Had he been an adult, not a problem. But, the actor is a child. He's still forming his personality and identity he'll assume in adulthood. The coaching he gets for his role may influence him disproportionately more than if he was an adult, grown-up person.

Have you read my answer? He's been outside the show since, you know, birth. The show is just one part of his life. There's also real life going on behind the scenes and off-set at the time of filming, and then there's what happens after filming. There's the fact he's spending a lot of time with girls, he has a twin sister and goes to a co-ed school. He is interviewed by and works with attractive women and girls, and he's stated since the start of the school up till now that his crush is Zendaya. How he plays a fictional character is unimportant.

But again, if being groomed into your sexuality is wrong, then go fight society telling him to be straight.
