Critics are hating it, audiences have been a little kinder

I contemplated going but the negative reviews are scaring me away

reply

You have to remember that most critics are gay. The only jobs they can get is writing fake stories. They write bad reviews of good movies because that way someone will go on and read it. They get paid per reader so a good story won't get a persons attention.

reply

Do you have the Big List of Gay Movie Reviews?

reply

This is another level of insanity.

reply

soon the audience that didn't like it very much will be heard

reply

Those "critics" are misandrists and feminazis who want sequels to GB2016.

reply

A "little" kinder? Audiences have been loving it so far according to IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, and Metacritic.

Almost nobody trusts critic reviews anymore. They lost their integrity a long time ago, their reviews and scores mean nothing.

reply

Why on earth would you listen to any critic's opinion? They're all idiots.

reply

62% is not hate. And the audience score is extremely high. If you wanna see a movie, see it.

Personally, I thought it was a blast. Extremely entertaining and a wonderful tribute to Harold Ramis.

reply

I dont know where youre getting 62% from but it's probably the illegitimate Rotten Tomatoes. I go by the more reputable Metacritic score which currently stands at 47%

reply

Metacritic?! That site is a waste of time. It's overwhelmingly negative. Almost nothing has a good score there. The original has a 71 for fuck's sake. That score is laughable in of itself, but a mere 11 points higher than the 2016 movie. And if you still give a shit about that site, the fan score is 8.4.

reply

I'm not getting into a circle jerk with you over Rotten Tomatoes vs. Metacritic. I'll continue to seek out the site I trust more.

reply

You trust a site that gives the original a 71?

reply

Well, it wasn't THAT good, though a lot of people have nostalgia for it. I suppose my favorite element would be Bill Murray's seemingly improvised dialogue at times while surrounded by state of the art effects for its era.

reply

You have to be trolling.

reply

Lol, do you pick that because they notoriously give low scores? I never hear anyone reference metacritic as their go to choice for a movie score. It's generally off with the rest of the consensus.

reply

Notoriously low scores is right. That site is a joke.

Plus, the fan score there is is quote high. If he takes that site seriously, but ignores that, I have to think he is trolling.
