Mjolnir. OT

Can Tony lift the hammer with the MK 42 armor? It would just be a machine lifting it.

reply

I don't think so. It's always been shown to be immobile, like a pin stuck in the universe. Wherever it sits, it's staying there.

reply

No, the hammer would know it is a guy controlling the machine

reply

But a guy can control an elevator. lol

reply

Only if he became worthy Mjolnir has an A.I. Enchantment.

reply

We see Tony and Rhody lifting it with their Iron Man/War Machine gloves on in Avengers 2 and it fails.

reply

Yea but they were wearing the gloves. the mk. 42 can be used by Stark remotely. So just a machine would be lifting it.

reply

It doesn't negate what I said. That scene shows Tony isn't worthy.

reply

Is the guy who presses the elevator button worthy. Its still just a man controlling a machine. like the suit.

reply

That analogy doesn't work, unless you're referring to a magical and judgmental elevator that won't give anyone unworthy a lift.

You know, like the ones at my job?

reply

Lol. Yea I know.

I just miss the days when these boards were used to talk about stupid stuff like this. Not now where its all hate and trolls.

reply

Do we know that an elevator can lift it?
