I don't see anything Vader can do against Thanos.
shareYeah, Thanos is stronger, has henchmen with much better weapons than light sabers, and by the end of the show has much better psychic/telekinetic powers, plus the ability to use illusions.
And he's actually smart, and I have grave doubts about Vader's intelligence.
Doctor Manhattan would obliterate them both at the same damn time
shareI'd have to go with Vader. He'd probably lift him off the ground and force choke. But that's only assuming Vader survives Thanos' 50/50 finger snap.

But as far as Thanos goes...
based on what we saw in Avengers IW....IMO he literally beat everyone in the MCU without The IG....
what he did to Hulk showed it alll....
first It showed he was just straight stronger than The Hulk....Then It showed He's An Incredible skilled fighter....He blocked,dodged and used Hulk momentum against him to land precise accurate shots....
Hes not only the strongest MCU character we've seen but The most skilled fighter...
I believe it Avengers 4....something is going to happen with The Hulk where He becomes absolutely enraged, Madder than hes ever been and when He turns, Hes either Going to be RED or Grey....They are going to Specifically mention that Hes never been stronger because hes never been madder, and He'll Probably Beat Thanos or be a huge reason why the team beats Thanos...
but as of right now, If The Hulk doesnt get enraged like he was in the World War Hulk Storyline where They make clear Hes never been more mad or stronger, He can't beat Thanos...
realistically, even if Hes RED and ALL TIME angry and strong, he shouldnt be able to beat Thanos because The Hulk is just wildly Throwing Punches....The Level of fighting skill that they showed Thanos having when he fought The Hulk is by far the My favorite part about the character(as I'm a HUGE MMA fan) they specifically designed that fight to show Thanos is a Trained fighter and Incredibly skilled and would easily beat An Opponent like The Hulk whom Hes stringer than and literally a 100 X fighter fighter
and then Obviously with the IG hes unstoppable...But I'm more impressed with him as a character without the IG...
Its entirely Possible he could have beaten all of The Avengers With NO IG....just with his Power and Skills in Fighting
He did have the power stone when he beat the Hulk, let's not forget that.

Post Credit Scene....Dom standing still looking straight up in the air....camera pulls back revealing Galactus standing there.....Galactus says "I'm here for your world"......Dom Pull out The Gauntlet and says "what did you think this was going to be a street fight"?
