Some deranged overweight woman in her 50's?
SHE is the one terrorizing the group, and many others?
Uhm... riiiiiiight....
At least she's not a fucker with a fetish for baseball bats...

I think Morgan is actually the villain this season. People are dying as a result of him joining the crew.

How exactly is she intimidating?
She took birdshot to the chest and apparently just "walked it off". I don't know if we're just supposed to assume that she had the mental wherewithal to pick out the pellets and clean the wound, despite her mental state, or if she's just so bad ass and intimidating that she didn't need to. I guess if I saw that IRL, I might be intimidated, or feel like I was seeing something so ridiculous that it couldn't possibly be real.
That said, what's more ridiculous than her stature (to me), is her modus operandi. "Hi! Billy Mays here, with Walker-on-a-Stick!"
In a real apocalypse she'd just be killed in an instant.
Exactly. She's gone completely round the bend, and is taking her crazy out on innocent third parties. Why hasn't anyone put her down yet? It's the only thing you can do for her.
shareThey really blew it with her. I was enjoying this season overall (much more than the tepid Walking Dead, surprisingly) but the villain is flat out dumb and ruins the immersion. They should have kept her as an ostensibly benevolent radio character, giving our gang "helpful" info over the radio; all the while sending them into danger on purpose. When they finally figure out that she is trying to kill them, they set about trying to figure out where she is. Then villain gal starts "helping" other groups, misleading them and setting them against our group.
I was unhappy that Morgan was the crossover character but he turned out to play pretty well. Although I am again weary of his penguin feet dispelling any illusion of badassery they managed to create. I have a bad feeling that they are going to turn him into this villain chick. A straight across transplant of character for no reason. Viola, Morgan is now the "I'll make you stronger" villain. They showed us that they have no problem hammering known characters into preposterous positions (look at the final scene of last season of WD)
Morgan already was that character. But afterward, he tried to bring the W guy back from the crazy and failed big time. Maybe he will be successful this time.
