Are people honestly really looking forward to this?

I love the MCU and Scarlett as Black Widow but honestly this is just getting to the point where some of these new MCU flicks are just being made only for the publicity and the money. This film should've honestly been made years ago and they wait until they kill her character off to give her her own film. I get it that this takes place before Endgame but if they wanted to make a BW film after Endgame, it would've been better to have it as an origin story for the character rather than just a film about a series of events the character went through in between Civil War and Infinity War.

I find it a little baffling that some people may consider this to be the most anticipated film of the year. I'm way more excited for films such as No Time to Die and Dune.

I think it looks really good. I don't care when it's released. I don't get that complaint. The character was never particularly interesting, but showed a little something in Endgame. She looks a lot more developed now. Performance looks better too.

I *was* looking forward to this film because of Scarlett, but let’s face it, she’s past her physical prime, and her complaints about Black Widow in Iron Man 2 aren’t helping her case. At this point I’m more looking forward to seeing it for Taskmaster.

Should she have had a movie a long time ago? Eh, I like her as a secondary character, but I never bought her as someone with main-character potential. She may have had her own comics, but in the movies she’s second fiddle to other heroes just like Hawk-Eye.
Should this movie have come out right after Civil War since that’s when it apparently takes place? Sure, and it’s odd that that’s the time period the writers chose to focus on after the fact.

I like her as an actress but she was never good as BW. She was miscast solely for her star power, not her similarities to the character. Can't even deliver a Russian accent. Worst character in the MCU. It is rare for them to cast poorly. It's one of Marvel's strengths.

I was never looking forward to this. If it gets good reviews (other than the "1000% fresh" ones you know are coming) then I might check it out for free at home.

Her not having a Russian accent makes sense to me. If you're a spy and trying not to blow your cover, you'll probably try and ditch your accent.

Ever read any comics with BW in them? She is a vibrant character and has the accent at least half of the time (when she isn't in deep cover). Scarlet makes the character dull somehow. A shame.

They should have gone with the Ultimates version of things and made her Tony's gf. Eventually, Tony makes her an Iron Maiden suit and she then tries to poison him, revealing her true foreign enemy status.

It's definitely not my most anticipated film of the year, but I'm excited nonetheless. It is upsetting that it's coming out so late and especially after Black Widow has already died, but I'm still excited to see more of her and the new characters they're introducing as well as how it'll set up the future of the MCU. I expect Yelena will be taking up the mantle which really gets me excited because Florence Pugh is fantastic.

I'm sure as hell not! The only people who are looking forward to this shit are nobodies with no meaningful love in life so they pine over some talentless whore's ass and not because it's going to be a good movie, which it won't be... truly sad that some of guys can't find someone to satisfy and hold their attention long enough so they have get all hot and horny over some bimbo that probably doesn't even know they exist or would even give them the time of day LOL 😂😆.

PS: Marvel has the worst female characters, FACT!
