I would be shocked if it was. When the average age of the stars of an action movie exceed 65 you really can't take the action movie seriously. Might was well just be a dream sequence from The Golden Girls... except that would probably be better than this over the top bullshit.
shareI'd watch a golden girls action flick. Say what you will but Bea Arthur firing an M249, Betty White fires a Mark 19, Rueda McLanahan on the throwing blades and Estelle Getty covering the high explosives with an AT4 would be up there with tropic thunder.
shareGarbage indeed. You'll feel dumber when watching Megan Fox on screen trying to lead the team with her mascara on. This is like grade A generic Asian movie that you see in Chinese releases where the ratings are like around 5 to 5.58 at most. Even the rated R can't save this. It looks like Statham has relegated himself to working with Asian actors to do his B movies. Both of the famous Asian martial arts masters from Singapore and Thailand were so underused, especially Iko Uwais who didn't put up much of a battle.

shareThis actually had a ton of hand to hand knife action. I was very pleased. I've always loved the "stealth raid".

shareThere was strange editing in that scene. They cut to him being gone but then like 30 seconds later Christmas stomps on the axe in his chest making sure he's super dead and says "That's for Barney". What the hell was that goofball shot of the empty floor for?

shareIt's terrible. But should definitely be watched at least once. For some reason we pretend Dolph is wearing a wig, and they sort of make a joke about it, but there's no payoff. That's the whole movie in a nutshell.
