Isn't it kind of late in the game for that? I mean, that looks like a conspiracy theory along the lines of The Manchurian Candidate to me. His campaign invested about $50 million in ads just to drive home the "convicted felon" label against Trump.

What you see as intentional, I see as desperation. When Biden was presented as the Dem's candidate in 2020 I thought,"This is the best they have to offer?" I saw him as unfit back then. The alternates you mentioned are equally as desperate if not worse choices.
