Any chance she might be innocent ??

Any chance ?

In the only other existing thread regarding this, I pointed out it was a strange case and provided a link to a BBC article detailing each of the individual charges:-
https://moviechat.org/tt26479995/The-Trial-of-Lucy-Letby/64e0d5221618615044952e07/Guilty

You will see on that article that there were a number of charges the jury were either hung or found her not guilty. Yet there are other cases (e.g. Baby M) where she was found guilty despite no clear evidence and it was said the death was "likely" due to an injection of air.

Given that she was on duty when these deaths happened to such an anomalous degree, the likelihood seems very strong that she was guilty.

But it seems ridiculous they didn't have CCTV in such a unit anyway, and it's always slightly uncomfortable for me when there's no other first hand evidence either.

I know what you mean.

When the verdicts were announced, I found myself wondering what would have happened had Letby been tried under the Scottish legal system where 'not proven' would be available as an option. Because while there's certainly a 'preponderance of evidence' (as it's called) against Letby, that's really the 'more likely true than not true' standard of civil court proceedings. I've seen very little in the evidence I've read that seems to meet the 'beyond a reasonable doubt' criterion of a criminal conviction. I do wonder how the jury was instructed.

Then again, the CPS evidently felt they had enough for a conviction or it wouldn't have gone to trial. And I wasn't in court for the six months this took, so it's entirely possible I've missed something.

Agreed. I'm sure the jury were party to a lot more detailed account over the course of trial than we get reading a quick summary on the BBC or elsewhere.

There were some charges where the jury were hung, so yeah what would have happened under the Scottish system with a third option is interesting. I don't know but It may be that all the guilty verdicts were marginal by the jury. If so of the "guilty" voters had a not proven option, maybe some or all of the guilty verdicts would fall short of a majority.

Will be interesting in the future if she confesses to the crimes. One thing I find really bizarre is the attempted murder of Baby B - this was carried out only 28hrs after the murder of Baby A. If you were a nurse and intent on killing babies by injecting air - and intending on getting away with it - why would you risk doing the same thing so soon to the first case?

reply

Just look at that face. Hard to believe she could do anything so terrible.

reply

No surprise that a degenerate like you defends baby murder.

reply

I was being sarcastic. Of course you can't tell those things from someone's appearance!

reply

Then I apologise for misreading your post, I have already seen race grifters blaming white supremacy so I expect the worst I guess. My bad.

reply

The Woke-HS would be scared shitless to investigate a black colleague for baby murder. But yeah, white supremacy facilitated the Great Dying and every unfortunate event recorded since.

reply

Exactly, the police were terrified to investigate the Rotherham grooming gangs for fear of being labelled racist but the race grifters expect us to believe their utter fabrications.

reply

No

reply

Hospital records show that Letby was on shift for all [near] deaths among the infants. No other colleague even came close. Little angelic Lucy is guilty as sin, even if her pals and some of the public can't accept it.

reply

God kills babies just like that to make atheists worship him. People who claim Satan does it too are lying atheists!

Good documentary by a youtuber.

I wonder how many more there are.

reply

Not sure.

But I think she has a decent chance at appeal.
