I watched the trailer and it just oozes David Fincer's 90s movies (se7en and the Game).

Bleh. The Dark Knight trilogy was already about as dark as I could tolerate in a movie while still having an enjoyable, entertaining time.
shareThe Seven comparison is appropriate, as this movie seems to be more of a crime/detective thriller than a comic book movie.
It will be good to see Batman using more of his detecting skills.
