enjoyed it.....

I must say though I was expecting an early twist that did not end up happening...

I total thought They were setting the stage for Mr Jingles to break out of The Insane asylum, Make it back to the camp, perfectly set the stage for him to be the killer, and then right before he made his first kill, Another Killer dressed in the same outfit kills him....I thought it was going to be a really clever twist, usually all these Slasher movies have a back story just like They did here, I thought they were gonna turn it on its head and set up it perfectly, give you the back story, show the killer escape, show him make it back to his killing grounds, and then BAM, The killer gets killed by another killer dressed exactly like him and now we have no idea who the killer is or why hes even doing it, all the counselors will think Its Mr Jingles, but really its a totally different killer.

while that didnt happen, I do think Theres definitely going to be more than 1 Killer, its clear someone was already there and killing before Mr Jingles escaped....thats clear by the hitchhiker they hit and when it was revealed he was missing an ear.

It seems already really obvious Leslie Grossman's character is probably going to be evil and has some kind of partnership with the killer/killers....

I also think theres going to be some kind of massive Twist in The season that completely changes things(similar to Roanoke), I have no clue what its going to be though.

I really hope this entire season doesnt turn out to be Emma Roberts characters "Hell".....I hope its not revealed that she didnt actually get away from The Nightstalker, Instead the Nightstalker Killed her at the beginning and everything after(Literally the entire season) Is her "Hell"

there will definitely be a twist the tv guide mentions the campers will have there final confrontation with Mr. Jingles in episode five, there seems going to be something way more sinister going on at the camp the hiker mentions the lines are down, then after his death they are working again! basically mr. jingles is the least of their worries it looks like

plus the night stalker and those guys that were threatening Xavier on the pay phone how will they all play into everything

I like the camp setting. I thought the episode was kinda boring...I'm not into slashers. I feel once you've seen one, you've seen them all. There's not much to say, I didn't hate it. But I think this would have been better on Scream Queens, even though AHS hasn't been a horror show since season 2 and every season after that feels like a parody.

Yes to this.

I liked it, nice homages to Friday the 13 and Halloween (Psych ward escape) plus Emma Roberts and Billie Lourd look amazing in those 80s outfits.

Such a good first episode. In fact, I thought it was perfect! The 80’s aesthetic was vibrant and unsurprisingly on point (wow, the opening theme was beyond cool), the suspense was great, the obvious homages to Friday the 13th & Halloween were well done, and seeing Emma Roberts as the complete opposite of a stone-cold bitch is strange but wonderful to see.

I didn’t set my expectations too high for this first episode. I simply wanted to enjoy it more than anything (and enjoyed it I did), but it was a quality episode through and through!

Side note: though I’m not into slashers as much as I used to be, I am nevertheless super excited for this season.

I liked it. I've always been a big fan of slashers and really enjoyed the homage to Friday the 13th. I'm not expecting the episodes to be too fast paced, as slashers by nature don't have too much character development, so it they are going that route, there will be some slow parts I'm guessing.

I might be in the minority here, but I'm glad to see some new cast members and not as many returning.
